Sustainable Fashion: Made in Los Angeles

In early 2017, the US Census confirmed that Los Angeles is now considered home to 4-million (and counting) people. And while not everyone may have the same shopping habits, LA alone spends 5.6% of their annual income* on apparel and personal care products, which is 1.2% more than the rest of the country does on average. With that much spending power, it is even more important to be conscious about where (and how much) you shop. Shopping where your items are made locally and ethically is one of the most sustainable ways to spend, and helps to further the demand to “clean up” the fashion industry. The following are some super stylish players in the Los Angeles Made fashion scene and are great choices if you live in, or are visiting, the Los Angeles area:
